I also have a HD3450 graphics card that has DVI, S-Video & VGA output which I'd hoped to add to the system to take advantage of hybrid crossfire mode in Vista.
I find if I install the card with latest drivers, the Catalyst Control Centre will only recognise the TV as a standard analogue when connected using the onboard HDMI port. (I haven't tried output to TV from the card ports as I don't have the cables and presumably it means a separate audio cable is required also)
Can the onboard HDMI port be used when a discrete graphics card is installed?
If so, how can I get CCC to recognise the LCD TV correctly when connected via the onboard HDMI port?
NB, I dual boot XP and Vista and have had no success with either OS. Any help would be appreciated.
