hi
wanting to connect my htpc to a projector using a hdmi cable, but it will be a 10 meter length. is it a good idea?. i see alot of people using cat5e to extend it. do i need it for this length?.
any prefered trademe brands?.

We bought a 10m HDMI cable from cablesdirect.co.nz for $80. Works fine.

To do HDMI on cat5 is not cost effective at this length, a good 10m HDMI cable should only set you back $80-100 and should work with no problems.

I'm running 12m good quality hdmi from htpc to projector, no problems at all.
