Hi troops – am a newbie to this forum.

Just need some help with MySky HDi Optical out (S/PDIF) fitting. Have a Bose system and the optical input is RCA female.

What cord (and where from for this)?

Just have done a search on DSE and nothing shows up.

Hi, if the digital input on your Bose system is RCA then you could use the RCA digital out from the HDi for S/PDIF sound.

Any RCA cable should do, coax preferable.

Thanks but the output from MySky HDi is not a fitting am familiar with - it is not RCA or like an optical cord that have.

The HDi has 2 S/PDIF outputs, an optical (Toslink) and a RCA (orange colour) and they are right beside each other and they are both industry standard. The first is labelled optical and the second coaxial.

Is the Bose a standard RCA or more like a mini-plug?

Ok - now have it sorted thanks - never thought of the simple way - the RCA output works fine!
