Hi all,

Trying to find some info online about a potential release date for this years Sony noise canceling headphones, assuming they might be called "Sony wh-1000xm4", going off previous release dates I thought we would have herd something by Sony by now.

They could well release a new update, but I'm not quite sure why they would need to at this point. Would have expected an announcement at IFA like previous years if a new pair was coming this year.

Already seeing deals for these headphones on OzBargain (Australia), with the cheapest price so far being $329 AUD. Special requirements though.

$433 AUD the cheapest price so far for your every day shopper through price matching.

So they are available now? I actually bought a pair of the mx3000s (or whatever theyv are) as they were the latest available model at the time and seemed to be the best on the market. I was just worried the mx4000 might be due to come out very shortly after from looking at the times of their previous releases.

If the mx4000 has only just come out i made the right choice then as i would not have wanted to wait until now. What are the differences between the models?
