Hi Can anyone recommend a good HDMI splitter to use with Sky HDi. I am using HDMI extenders to run the signal over approx 25m using cat5e cables. Cheers Richard
Buy from a retailer where you can return it if it doesn't work for your displays.
Reason: An hdmi switch/splitter that will work with the HDi and one brand/model of display may not work for another so a brand someone might recommend can't be 100% guaranteed to work for you.
I have a CYP splitter that works fine and a RapalloAV splitter that causes a glitch on one display. It is hard to tell which device is at fault (source, repeater or display) but I feel the HDi is a bit dodgy HDMI/HDCP wise.
Beware not to purchase ones that only allow 1 output at one time. For example some cheaper splitters require you to turn off a source first to use the second source, so you cannot have two Televisions running at once via the HDMI splitter.
