Looks like the Comedy Channel will be added and the Box will move to HD by the end of the year with WWE in HD.

The comedy channel better be good, because Box only ever plays wrestling and 10yr old simpsons repeats.

Doesn't look like HD is coming to The Box after all:

From an article at NZPWI:

"While the shows are available in high definition internationally (which is 16x9), the BOX is not HD capable and SKY would need to down-convert the HD version to SD before we could broadcast the shows. Unfortunately, SKY does not yet have the capacity or facilities to enable us to do this for each of the shows on a weekly basis."

Correct. See the media release from Sky: http://www.skytv.co.nz/media-releases-current.aspx

Free for the first month and then I seem to recall a separate subscription of $10/mth thereafter. Niche channel that will appeal to some communities but not the masses.

On the issue of whether F1 will be in HD or not:

A few months ago I asked about the option of taking the Formula 1 in HD. I thought the answer that was given me was that the world feed was not in HD. A friend of mine says that Channel 10 (in Australia ) is offering it in HD. Is this accurate or are they taking a SD feed and up-converting it to HD?
