Hi all,

Does anyone know if the IPTV freeview recording plugin be set up on the 'Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 2GB Home Use 4K KODI Media Player Kit Pack'. And if so, how well does it perform? Recording back to a NAS

I'm looking at this to replace my old PC I built about 10-15 years ago (pretty much been running 24/7 since it's build)

Thanks 😎

I use a dedicated Pi3 to do the recording. OSMC running TVheadend server. And use Pi4 running libreelec as the TVheadend client.

But a Pi4 could be both the client and server depending on the distro you are running.

External NAS.

Excellent quality and performance.

google "LIBREELEC TVHEADEND IPTV SETUP FOR FREEVIEW NZ (WITH PVR)"

look at first result from Matt H. Should be enough to get you started.

There are also a few other posts on Matt's site which may also be usefull.

Umm. Why would his name be banned? Genuinely curious.
