Topic header says it all.. has anyone else discovered this feature has now been enabled?

I can record two channels and watch a third one live which is a nice step up from the My Sky unit in the other room..

Not too many crashes lately but the stutter and delay on rewind / fast forward remains and is very annoying.

Cheers, Paul.

Would be nicer if you could record three channels at once while watching something previously recorded. :)

No it turns out you can't which seems strange, but I certainly can now record two while watching a 3rd live which is a step up from the first My Sky unit.

The firmware upgrade was deployed OTA around a week or ten days ago.

How can you enable a third tuner by firmware?
Unless 2 of the channels need to be on the same mux

The box has 4 tuners but only 2 were activated when the box was originally rolled out. A firmware upgrade enabled the other 2, 1 of which you can use for viewing/recording TV and the 4th which is reserved exclusively for downloading PPV movies.

The EPG is transmitted within sub streams across all muxs, so will be visible to whatever mux any tuner is on. As steve says the 4th tuner is for on-demand PPV.
