Hi, People I know have lost remote for LG TV model number 43UJ654V.

All I can find online NZ shops is one for all remotes, but they don't have Amazon, Netflix and recent button for getting to other applics.

Best I've found so far is on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/AKB75075301-43UJ634T-43UJ634V-43UJ654T-43UJ654V/dp/B07TDGXR12/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8

Don't need the magic part. happy to just push up, down, right arrows if know can access smart features.

Just seeing if better alternatives to above link, and maybe if sourced in NZ get it quicker.

Thanks.

Edit, In box to right + $105 for delivery ????

When our puppy eat our Samsung remote we got one form https://www.tvremotes.com.au/?rf=kw&kw=43UJ654V - got here in 2 days - and that was a rural address too and about 1/2 the price Samsung nz parts wanted to charge us.

must order another to replace it too as we did not learn after the first time to put remote somewhere the puppy can not get it......

Says on the page before this that it is unavailable, but then says there are four in stock, and suggests an alternative.  Haven't actually used these guys, but Sony NZ links to them from their support page.

I bought one of these remotes from Jaycar when I picked up a second hand TV with no remote. It’s great. Once programmed, a minor hassle, not too bad, it’s been really good. Can recommend.

Cheers,
Joseph

I lost the remote for my standard LG TV. Purchased a remote described as  "One For All LG Replacement Remote Control" on Noel Leemings web site. The included manual gave instructions about matching it to your particular model but it worked out of the box on its default settings so I didn't bother.

$42 on Noel Leemings site.

Thank you for replies. Couple good links for replacing with genuine remote better then the Amazon one as well.

Have decided to hold off for now, as TV has power on and off button, and they only use Sky for TV watching so volume and channel control can be done from Sky remote.

They need me around to start Netflix or other services, and have found my LG 2018 TV remote is compatible with the 2016 one. I tried multiple times to show them how to do it, but to no avail.

Just the magic remote part needs to be paired with TV the IR works on which ever TV pointed at.

Also have an LG applic on phone which can control both TV's, forgot about that.

Will keep an eye out for Universal remotes, do the cheaper ones (Under $100)  do smart TV controls or are more expensive ones needed if go down that road in future?

Thanks for replies

Was going to suggest the app if your TV is hooked up to WiFi.

Used the LG app at the son in-laws house yesterday after miss 2yo had 'put it away' somewhere.

It later turned up down the back of the couch cushions of course. But the app worked fine.

I've used NeedAPart (for a Magimix food processor bowl) and they were great. Fast and good communication.
