Using MDAPI 2.2? Q Is it possible to use two or more DVB-S/DVB-C tuner cards with MDAPI?
The benefit of using more than one tuner card at any one time is to allow for recording one program while watching another (on a different transponder) simulteniously. As of July 2008, this feature has come a very long way since its development begun over 12 months ago by the community. Many coders have contributed much of their time to their own versions, however it now seems that heerfordt has come the closest to a stable release, discussed here.
Yeah MDAPI 2.2. Problem is when I try to dual tune, MDAPI starts another instance of itself for the other card and the second instance cannot access the card reader because its in use by the first instance of MDAPI/NDSCAM
