Possibly looking to get a new tv. And I was looking at the Veon lineup again. I currently have the 65 inch 4k 2016 model but finding its a tad out dated now. I was interested in the 75 inch 4k. But I can only see the 70 inch model being listed at the warehouse is the 75 inch no longer being stocked?

Have you called the Warehouse and asked them?

Why does outdated matter for a TV? Just attach a smart device like the Xiaomi Mi Box and use the TV as a dumb panel. Means one more remote, but our ten year old 55" TV is still working great, otherwise we'd have had to replace it multiple times by now.

A quick google leads to nothing but dead ends...I would say their panel supplier no longer makes a 75" and has moved to 70" as that seems to be the go with Samsung and Panasonic, based on that same search

There are certain features my current tv doesnt have that I will need when the ps5 and next xbox launch like HDMI 2.1. HDR etc. Hence its out dated.

I guess the Gov. told the Warehouse that a 75inch TV isnt an "essential" item. 🤣

Well getting a new veon wont solve those problems for you, still no HDR models there.

I wouldn't be getting anything now based on things you will use in the future. By the time the console is here if you find the HDMI 2.1 doesnt work with variable refresh rate or similar it will be too late to return the TV. If you have the console, and then ask the sales people if it works and it doesnt, you are all good to return it if things fail to work with the PS5.

In all seriousness, if you're looking for an HDMI 2.1 product, wait until a source device is available before buying a display...

There's a whole lot of unanswered questions re: spec at this point.

Heck, there's not even a finished standard for HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps) cables yet!
