I have noticed the online light on the front of the STB is flashing very regularly (daily or more often).  And during peak times rather than graveyard.

Obviously its communicating (send or receive).  Any thoughts on the increased frequency and nature of the communication?

- is it polling viewership habits (standby vs on), channel, PVR activity?
- daily checking of OnDemand and SBO activity (I was under the assumption that this is monthly consistent with asset tracking)
- something else????

Yes we've noticed this too. But only since the recent firmware upgrade downloaded for MYSKyHDi. The dog  has started licking himself while sitting next to the subwoofer. And Felix throws herself at the back wall af the theatre if we use the CAT 6 to split the HDMI signal to another display. ...And I've now got a few hairs on my palms. Hmmm.

The STB is probably retrying its monthly callback which is failing to get through. There is no audience measurement in the MySKY HDi's current software. If a phone line is connected to the STB then it may not be working.
