Does anyone know the closest I can get to having all these services intergrated into one device/interface. Either android box or windows pc. Vodafone TV doesnt support plex. I know its a really unreasonable request to try and get everything including nz on demand onto 1 interace controlled by 1 remote or keyboard but im trying to think how I could get as close as possible. I have a TV tuner running on mediaportal and a plex server on 1 pc so I can send those through the network. I am currently subscribed to Netflix, Neon, Amazon Prime and Disney+. Right now Im thinking of maybe trying Kodi with plugins for all the streaming services and plex if they exist, and running freeview iptv on it. But then there is also tvnz and 3 on demand. With all these services you would think there would be an easy way to just log in to all these accounts onto one device and just have it display everything in one searchable layout.

Apple TV 4K will play all of those services and then some from a single interface.

Is op after a single device, or a single interface?  There's quite a difference there.

A single device, as @geekiegeek said, the apple tv is and vodafone tv are probably the only devices....short of "smart-for-18-months-tvs".

But a single interface is a much harder proposition.   Maybe Kodi is about the closest you'll get with the IPTV addons for freeview.

As a long term Apple anti-fan I recently took advice from these forums and bought an Apple TV 4K for exactly this purpose. It really is the best solution - simple to set up, simple to use, and gives you everything on the one interface, including overseas services.

... apart from the PITA remote that Apple supply with it.

Yeah, that remote is a pain. Luckily the ATV4 also works with older versions remotes (like from the ATV3) and works with Harmony remotes just fine as well.

It’s a minor pain to access it but rather than use the frustrating ATV4 remote, I use the remote/app for ATV that shows up on the iPhone Control Panel - works well.

Or a child. Make them do it. Preferably your own. I’m not sure if I’d go out somewhere and steal one for that purpose.

Thanks for the replys everyone. I will look into Apple TV 4K. I have looked into Xiaomi Mi Box and Nvidia Sheild. I'm not just wanting one device that can have all the apps just like a smart tv would have built in. I don't like switching between apps/browser tabs looking for content. I've tried reelgood.com and the program Stremio for windows which gets me part of the way there but they don't do all services and more specifically getting NZ on demand/plex linked into them is hard since most things like this are American centric. Even getting Netflix, Neon, Disney+ and Amazon Prime all in one browsable interface would be nice and I can have Freeview/TVNZ/3 On Demand seperate. Getting Plex intergrated into things is also a pain. Basically I'm dreaming of a world where I can just look by category Eg. Sci Fi, and a list of movies and tv shows appear for all the services I have and I can just browse through them. The same with "continue watching" lists, where all in once place I can see what I'm currently up to across all my streaming services.

Sounds like you want a return to the old sky monopoly... now that streaming has fragmented, there’s no real way to do it quite like that, at this time...

ATV4 will do all the apps in one interface, but nothing can search all your sub’s for the one thing you heard about, or keep track of your watch lists across several servers.

I use the JustWatch app on Nvidia Shield for searching multiple services, it will detect what you have installed and search those then you can select a show/movie and it will open the appropriate app.
