I want to switch to a USB tuner (need my one free slot for another card) but does anyone know if USB DVB-S tuners work with VMC and SKY? (there are some USB devices listed in the DVBViewer supported devices list).

Guess if no one knows I could always buy one from DSE and return it if I can't get it working.

Depends on what you are really asking...

There are USB DVB-S tuners supported by the Vista Operating system, and have Vista drivers...

eg. http://www.hauppauge.com.sg/site/products/data_novasusb2.html
And provided you use an external application such as DVBviewer, you should have no problems.

But if you are asking, will DVB-S work within Vista Media Center, then normally the answer is no...
But if you install TV Pack 2008, then your answer is yes.
