running Media Portal RC3
Win Vista
Revens xmlTVNZ 3.0 Release Candidate 3

I had been using the old xmlTVNZ version 2.0.something dot something using -13hrs offset in TV-Server Config seemed to do the trick. Now installed the RC3 version of xmlTVNZ and am getting wierd times in my EPG, tried -13, -12 and +12, +13 but they all seem to be off, i think by about 6 hours with no time offsets? (But brain is too fried tonight to work it out exactly)

THis is the shortcut I had from my desktop to run the xmlTVNZ file. I just updated the version 2 one to work with RC3.

C:\Users\htpc\Documents\xmlTVNZ\xmlTVNZ.exe tvguide.xml -days 8 tvnzfv_tv1 tvnzfv_tv2 tvnzfv_tv3 tvnzfv_c4 tvnzfv_tvnz6 tvnzfv_tvnz7 tvnzfv_tvnzsportextra tvnzfv_parliamenttv tvnzfv_maori

anyone else had something similar, or suggestions pretty please?

thanks

I use DJKXML epg with a setting of -13 in Tv Server, to get the time correctly. I do not know why is happening, but it does not bother me as I set that "-13" and is re-applied to every "tvguide.xml" import;

I assume MP thinks it is in UK and does not read the system's time correctly.
NZ is 13 hours ahead of UK (GMT), this might explain it, or it could be just a coincidence.

But where is the 6 hours difference coming from ??

I would say, just set it, get it working properly and leave it if it's not broken...Wink
