I am wanting to add some extra funtionality to my HTPC, running VMC + TV Pack 2008...

I want to be able to 'book' TV programs, simular to the functionality provided by SkyTV...
I don't want the booked program to record (being the only option available currently for future programs), just automatically change the channel when the booked program is due to screen..

Is there any plug-in available that gives Vista Media Center this functionality?

I had a look for this after you first posted it as I would also lke this feature but couldnt find anything. I would suggest starting a thread on TGB and asking the VMC experts.

I looked through that site but their search function is somewhat limited and all I could find was "booking" and "scheduling" for recording

I am surprised this feature is not more desired, its so usefull.
