Hi all,

I recently got a monitor that has a built-in KVM - (Monitor M27Q), I need a USB-C to USB-C cable that can be used for display as well.

Currently got a phone charge cable but doesn't do the job.

For the monitor all device plug into it, then I push the button on the monitor and it should switch over to my laptop.

Would anyone know if this cable does the job?

I don't think so. It says charging cable which probably means only two wires. This is why your present cable isn't working. You need one with the data wires as well.

I'd expect that one to work, it says charge and sync, not just charge.

I haven't come across any usb 2.0 or 3.0 cables that are 2 core before, mostly minimum 4 core (+, GND, and data +,-)

I got this one, now its cheaper today. Grr

But it works great and the monitor KVM on my M27Q works great. so I guess I'm happy.
