Thought I would point out to those who have not seen it already a new media streamer dedicated to PS3 that was released just before christmas, and is better than anything I have yet to come across.

The key features are:

- written in JAVA and all self-contained, no additional codecs required
- allows for DVD cover art - finally - I did this last night and makes a big asthetic difference!
- apparently allows DVD ISOs to streamed - I have not tried this
- will pass through PS3 compatible media (if TS muxer is on board)
- will transcode other media - using mencoder, (ffdshow including the lastest multicore version)
- this includes - FLAC, VC-1 (I have not tried VC-1 yet but others report success)
- caters for subtitles - finally!
- will transcode DTS to LPCM

I would urge you to give it a try if you stream to your PS3.

and lengthy forum here

Its convinced me to set up a new server box, just trying to decide whether to do the linux or WHS route now.

Looks pretty good if streaming is your thing. For me the fact I had to run a PC/Server etc as well as the PS3 just to watch a movie or listen to music prompted me to install a bigger hard drive into my PS3. No more streaming required and everything on demand when I want it.
