Hi, I've got a DishTV & today, I see that all my TV3 recordings are failed.

I can see any other TV station, but not TV3 or associated channels.  I've factory-reset my recorder twice.

(I'm also in North shore auckland).  Just wondering if it's just me, or has anyone else got an issue?

Im not sure - Its a DishTV T2200.  I can't see dvb mentioned in the online specs.

(I *CAN* change channel and get Tv1 /. TV2 if i press the channel selector - But Tv1/2 isnt on the EPG menu.  i cant get Tv3 at all (or its other tv3-channels)

I guess it's time to upgrade. Ive left messages on the DishTV Facebook too 9no replies yet)

More testing - i can get TV1 7 TV2 - watchable.  I can select other channels - but they're all unwatchable _ Noise/picture intreruptions..

Just wondering - will a change to the TV dish (or whatever) result in that?

T2200 is a terrestrial box, i.e., uses a UHF antenna to receive DVB-T (digital modulation standard used by Freeview) transmissions.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

DVB-T just means it uses a UHF antenna to receive. DVB-S is satellite. Yours looks like UHF. Your problem could have to do with an issue at the transmitter. It might come right if you wait patiently.

I was going to say if dvb-s, like ours, we had problems with the lnb on the dish and water getting into the cable from the dish to the box. Both replaced and fine again. Whether anything similar could happen to at least the cable part of your setup...maybe ?

So, might be the box, but might be worth checking out the bits that feed the box. I'm only guessing though, and its not my money...
