Setting up a Sony Google TV for the mother-in-law.

KD32W830K

The only way I could find Google Playstore was through the Google Assistant.
How can I have the Google Playstore app bookmarked, so it’s showing next to the other apps (Netflix etc etc)?
At the moment, I have to start it up via Assistant.

Press the inputs button on your remote - it should be the picture of a screen with a right pointing arrow. Then go to the "Edit" option on the far right. Find "Google Play Store" and select it so the blue tick displays.

I saw that it a YouTube video as well, but for some reason I can’t see Google Playstore, when I follow those instructions.

On my Sony TV (model escapes me) -Hit the "Apps" button on the Sony remote, and you should find the Play Store icon. If you want it on the "Home" screen, press and hold the middle button of the navigation/cursor control, and select "Add to favorites". This will place it on your home screen.

Thanks,

I’ll give it a go next time I’m at the mum-in-law.
