Looks like Pioneer are going to stop making Plasmas altogether.
See link

The thing is that both LCD and Plasma will go after time and will be taken over by OLED and either
SED or Laservue.

Does anyone know who's selling them in Wellington?  There seems to be lots of people with Pioneer stereos, but the TVs seem to be hard to find.

JB HiFi have their Plasma's. They were clearing out the 8 series ones before Xmas for around $3499 from memory, about $2k cheaper than LV Martin, HN etc.

Has anybody seen any reviews comparing the latest Panasonic Plasma's vs the Pioneer models? These have the same Panasonic panels so it would be interesting to see if anybody really believes the extra money for a Pioneer badge on the front.

I still love my series 6 even though it's getting on a bit now.
