Hi, im using an xbox 360 as a MCE extender, but I cant control the volume using the xbox 360 universal remote. Does anyone know if this is a microsoft design or if I need to change something in the settings to get it to work?
cheers

This has been a frustration of mine also.

There is no clear workaround that I have found as the universal remote will only control the volume of your TV not the Xbox running as an extender.

I have found you can mute the Xbox but that's about it.

If you need help with the instructions to config your uni remote with your TV let me know and I'll dig up the key codes you have to use on the remote.
