Just talking to workmates about random crap, and the number of TVs in our houses came up.......

Worked out theres 6 in our house (family of 4), 3 of them get regular use, all have PC/Firestick connected. And WHEN I win the LG this week, that'll be 7 :D

How about yourselves ?

We have two - but there’s only two of us here. One is used almost solely with PS5. However Mrs Code watches way more streaming TV on her 13” iPad than she does on a ‘real’ TV - so maybe say three.

When I win this month’s giveaway - :D - we will put it in the bedroom in place of the OILED.

Between 1 and 3 depending on how you count them.

The "good" TV is my 55" Panasonic, which has the PS5 connected and is used pretty much exclusively for games. I put "good" in quotes because frankly the TV is rubbish.

I still have the old 32" Sony, which unlike the Panasonic has component inputs and has my PS2 connected... but has never been used since getting the Panasonic. So whether you want to count that one is up to you.

The third, if you count it as a TV, is my projector. This is for movies, and it's very rare that I watch traditional episodic TV on it (I mostly do this on the computer instead).

4 TV's but there's also monitors with various rigs hooked up and my home office has a chromecast plugged in to one of the larger monitors, so that becomes a TV on occasion.

So that's 4 TV's, 4 Monitors, 4 iPads and various laptops, all of which have at least one TV app installed.

Only one; a 42" LG QNED. I find it perfectly adequate for my needs.

No TVs but a couple of desktop PCs each (plus laptops, phones, tablets).

Samsung 65" in the lounge - it gets a daily workout.

Panasonic 32" in the bedroom - it almost never gets used.

Samsung 55" in the garage - used regularly to watch how-to videos on car & boat maintenance/repairs in a 'play along at home' manner lol.

My wife and I have two.

A 55" Samsung in the lounge/media room hooked up to a HTPC, DVD, and a Wii.

A 40" Panasonic in the living room that is hooked up to a laptop to view online streams.

The Panasonic will soon be relocated to the garage/workshop when you know what arrives.

We have 3.  2 of those are EOL but holding on as long as we can.  Use to be 5 but we got rid of the ones in the kids rooms when they got laptops, they never used the TV's after that, so no point taking up space.

There are 6 of us, 2 adults, two teenagers and two primary age.

2 tv's and one projector. - all with xbox series devices.

Everyone has a laptop (or chromebook), teenagers have phones.

Projector (120") is for movies, or awesome 'event' TV (Peacemaker and Say Nothing right now)

Big TV (75") is for family/lazy/background tv - taskmaster, doctor who,  ad-hoc stuff.

Other TV (55") is in the hangout room - Kids use it when mates are over for xbox, or when they can't agree on what to watch on the big tv.

Works pretty well for us.

Oh hell I hate to think how many screens I would have that are actually "tvs" - I got a whole lot back when I was sending the cameras out over a RF modulator - so probably about 12 RF reception capable LCD panels around the place. Add on the retro CRT collection and I would be at 20-25 perhaps? Thats not counting monitors.

We have 3 "TVs" here but only 1 gets used for watching "TV".

It's the 55" Samsung in the lounge with an AppleTV 4k attached, which is used 95% of the time. Other 5% there's a Raspberry Pi arcade unit that we sometimes play on.

Son has a 42" "TV" in his cabin but it's really only used as a 2nd screen on his computer.
He does also have an AppleTV but only uses that with it when he has mates over.

I have a 50" 4k "TV" in my office but it's only ever used as a monitor for work, as the Primary display with my laptop.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

A Samsung 55" in upstairs family room, a Samsung 48" in master bed and a LG 42" in daughter's room.

Mostly used for streaming via Chromecast and the odd times used to watch replays of All Blacks games on CH 15
