I have a different model 55" Veon (the damn thing just won't die) and the HDMI ARC port is HDMI 3. You generally have to enable HDMI/CEC/ARC n a menu so check that too?

So I connect my settop box to HDMI 3 on the TV? Is the menu to enable on the TV too? On mine, the menu is pretty sparse and no mention of enabling HDMI that I can see.

I've got a 55" Veon of approximately the same age and my ARC connection is HDMI1.  I have my soundbar connected to HDMI1 (ARC), my SmartVu SV11 on HDMI2, and an HDMI auto-switcher on HDMI3 with an AppleTV and XBox connected to it.

Not sure, the link doesnt let me see the pdf. I will try those settings tho. On the panel where the HDMI ports are, do any of them have ARC next to them? Mine dont so I am wondering if this TV is missing ARC.

Thanks for the manual but that seems to be a newer/advanced model than mine. I see it has 4 HDMI connects, mine only has 3 :-( Tried your settings but no joy, I think this TV doesnt have ARC which is a pain. I can get audio thru BT or Optical but it means using extra remotes, 3rd world problem I suppose :-)

Is there an hdmi cec menu option?

That's sadly what I was thinking.

This is the manual for my 50" Neon TV.

Totally useless. No point in even downloading the PDF. No close-up of the ports or descriptions of them what so ever.
