So I have setup NextPVR, and then installed Jellyfin, and set up Live TV - it works well, except, I cannot turn off subtitles. I've disabled them in my user account and checked everywhere I can at the server and client level but they still appear in the livestream shows.

Anyone know what I've missed ?

Sounds like something NextPVR is doing? It's pretty simple to turn on / off subtitles in Jellyfin.

But would suggest checking out Dispatcharr: https://github.com/Dispatcharr/Dispatcharr

It's what I have configured with Jellyfin for live TV. It can act like a PVR itself, or you can use Jellyfin as a PVR but I find it works very well.

Cheers for that, had seen Dispatcharr but not taken a proper look. Now have it running and integrated with Plex thanks to its Homerun impersonation :)

feed nextpvr with dispatcharr for iptv and it's pretty good for handling multiple epg sources as well.  But connect direct tuners to Nextnpvr.

Nextpvr pisses all over jellyfins )and plex) native iptv and tuner implementation.

Don't see the need for NextPVR with Dispatchrr running - its happily doing what I want.
