Anyone have any ideas why the downloadable epg doesn't have TV1 Sky listings past Wednesday next week?  I'm using istings-all.xml.gz.  I haven't checked the other files.  The tv1.freeview listings in the same file exist for the usual 7 days.

I'm using Freeview but use the sky listings for TV1 with the overnight BBC World individual programs listed, which is really handy.

Thanks.

Theses listing files aren't always 7 days. It depends what data can be grabbed off the broadcaster, and there are times where selected channels only have a couple of days data.

Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

That doesn't appear to be the case since the Freeview data for TV1 was intact for 7 days, but not the TV1 for Sky.  There were no listings past Wednesday 22nd for the last 4 days.

But magically overnight, all is well again today.

Since when?  I've never encountered this.

Just the last 3 or 4 days.  Had you been looking ahead past Wednesday?  I also scanned through the xml file visually and it did appear to be missing.  Yesterday my MediaPortal was saying "No Data Available" for TV1 from Thursday onwards, but had all programs for all other channels up to Saturday.

But it's all back as normal today.

Yeah, but I'm just wondering if this is an issue with the pvr.geek grab and not what is actually being broadcast.

I use the Haventech guide and have not seen any issues with incomplete guide data.

I see.  Very likely it was a pvr.geek grab issue in that case.  Perhaps why it was fixed today after I mentioned it.
