Hi Guys,

Any seen this before?

I  tried to play a blu-ray the other nite, and was told by powerdvd it needed to do an upgrade. Which was fine, it downloaded a 100mb file and  played the movie fine.

But then my tv stopped working in mediaportal. I checked the setting and i no longer have the option of powerDVD under h264 decoders.

I'm running vista x64 and mediaportal rc4

cheers

Yup, 3rd party use is disabled from now on in all current updates of Cyberlink PowerDVD. For anyone else reading, do not update. Apparently the latest trial builds have this too also.

I suggest you read this thread, specifically the last post

kiwi does it play back all the new generation blu-ray disks?

I have rolled back to what i had at the moment. Looks like it might be eaier to find blu ray software than decoder a for h264

cheers
