I have recently installed Win7MC (Build 7100) and set about configuring my two cards (HVR3000 & PVR150). Out of the 'box' the system installed the required drivers for the PVR150 (including blasting my Sky box), but i needed to install the latest Hauppauge drivers to get the HVR3000 working. I cannot use the DVB-T on my HVR as i do not receive UHF signal at all.

I have successfully configured the HVR for the Optus D1 satellite and it has populated the guide with a great load of useless Australian stations. To get the NZ stations i have to manually scan the correct transponders.

When attempting this i hit a hurdle. When scanning frequencies 12456 & 12483 (Freeview transponder) i get zero freeview channels, only sky ones. If i scan the rest of the NZ bound frequencies I can get TV One and TV2 on 12519 and the remaining plethora of Sky and music channels. The tuned TV One and TV2 channels can be viewed and i get EPG data for these channels.

Even through i have a dual-LNB, I have configured the TV signal section with the automatic LNB settings as when i try to config either 10250 or 11300 (used previously in MP) in the manually settings the system hangs on scanning and when i go for the custom dual-LNB setting it asks for a switch freqency that i do not know (i used to us 0 on MP, but it will not accept it in Win7MC).

So, it would appear that the freeview channels are a little lost to me and why TV 1/2 have appears on 12519 when they should not be there at all is a perplexing mystery.

Any help would be appreciated.

GF

Mine works on 10750 (single not dual), have you tried that? The ones on 12519 are the sky feeds I believe

You need to set it for single LNB either 10250 or 11300 (mine is 11300). The switch is 22500 I think I dont have my documentation in front of me but I think that is it. Can someone else confirm?

No the symbol rate is 22500. Your lnb will probably be either 11300 or 10750
I used Optus D1.
Then single lnb (set to 10750)
And manually scanned 12483 and 12456 with symbol rate set to 22500. The full scan option gave me the garbage channels you describe above.

I went through and reran the setup for the TV signals and have successfully acquired the Freeview channels :). It would appear the issue was related to to the LNB settings. I am not sure what 7MC uses for the automatic LNB settings, but it does not work with Freeview.

With the blaster working well and Freeview all setup things are looking good.

As you found Windows is not setup for Automatic finding of the channels in NZ.. yet. Apparently this is in the works and may be in place by release date.
