Hi All.  My first post.

I'm looking at my first LCD purchase (this will be an upgrade from the 20" CRT!) and I'm settling on the LA37A550A.   I can't go over $2k, I think 37" is the right size for me, and need HD.  Even though the 550s are an old series, the Samsungs do it for me, and as far as I can tell the 550s aren't substantially worse than the higher end models.

I would love to hear from users of the LA37A550A - is there any reason this wouldn't be a good buy?

Or is there anything else that should be on my list?
