Hi,

I'm looking to get hold of a 4 pin (ide power connector) to P4 atx 12v motherboard adapter like this one:

I've googled high and low but can't find one in NZ. Anyone have any idea where I can get one?

Worst came to worst you could always make your own up by picking up some terminals from Jaycar or someone similar.

PBTech have got them, cost about $2-3 bucks from memory...

Nope, no joy. Just had a look on PBTech website and couldn't see em.

This is turning into some sort of hunt for a golden egg.

I had a similar need a couple of months ago... I ended up giving up, I had a spare PS that had the P4 cable, but I had to swap around a couple of power supplies to free it up.

The cables are hard to find, and expensive in NZ (for what they are)

Making one is probably the cheapest option if you can't find one - just chop the plug off an old PSU and crimp (or even solver) a 4 pin molex plug on.

Thanks for the thought. I'm gonna sound like a wimp-geek here though - I don't have an old PSU, a crimp, a soldering iron or know which wires go where in the 4 pin molex :D
