Does anyone know who sells Onkyo gear in Christchurch apart from HN?

Flick a message off to the boys and ask em for a retailer list (or maybe visit them on tuam st) :) Sure they won't mind

info@bwspeakers.co.nz

I got all my B&W speakers via Pacific Retail on special order. They just needed a CC deposit to get em in. Your average consumer doesn't tend to walk in wanting $1300 pr of speakers so they didn't stock but they could still source em.

bwspeakers/pacific telephones were more than happy for me to walk in the front door with a broken speaker and they replaced the cone then and there.

Powerstore do stock B&W/Onkyo on the floor also (or at least use to). And sometimes Smith City colombo

Smiths City?
The reason you may have less success finding Onkyo is that the importer changed. However the bigger chains have their own sources.

Hell so they have.

Forget what I said then. It USE to be B&W/Pacific telephones. Perhaps they do speakers only now then.

Avalon Pacific Marketing Limited = new onkyo

If you are from Auckland, or anywhere north of Nelson you won't have heard of Smith City (southern LTD). Retail chain down these parts. Also in bed with Electra, Powerstore and LV Martin.
