So the xbox live service is down for maintenance for "up to 24 hours", and now the Media Center Extender on the xbox 360 says "this game needs to connect to xbox live" when you access it, and won't start up. Does it need to connect to XBL periodically, or every time? I've never noticed it doing this before. I found some forum messages about this happening during the Vista beta, is it just because I'm using Windows 7 RC1?
