Has anyone here done this?
If I purchase the upgrade, does 7 have to be installed when 9 is installed? Or do I get given a new key so I can install just 9 on a clean Windows install?
My PDVD7 install is messed up so I have to start again anyway.

Just remember that it appears PowerDVD now won't allow external applications to access the decoding functionality - if you rely on PowerDVD to decode HD TV then I wouldn't upgrade.

I really only use it for Blu-ray, but have a couple mkv files I've played with Windows Media Player using the PDVD codec I assume... so this would no longer work?
