hi to u all

please help me answering this question

I know that there is hd tv and full hd tv but my questin is there hd reciever and full hd reciever
and what are the differences between them ?? or they are the same ...

i guess. Since one is talking about 1080p. The other one it doesn't mention.So it will be 1080i/720p.

But all of this is moot, since there is no 1080p broadcast television. So it's either a type, or bad marketing.

but I think there is 1080p broadcast television like in some channels on hotbird such as sky italy

actually I have the first reciever and I read that it deal with hd bradcasting but I do know If It has

difference between hd and full hd reciever or not

Hmm, I don't think anyone is broadcasting in 1080p, the bandwidth requirements are too high - expecially from satellite.

Besides here in nz, the highest is 1080i

HD broadcasts in NZ are 720p... some units will upscale to 1080 but in the end it's still using maths to extrapolate and add extra pixels.
