Hey guys,

---Description of current TV Set up, ignore this paragraph if you just want to get to my question--
I work in entertainment at the "redshed" and set up the lcds at my store. Basically our current setup looks horrible as we are using a transonic dvd player (Unless using the HDMI model you easily notice "noise" in the picture when looking closely) that outputs to about 7 lcds (has been up to about 13 at one stage, although back then we used a Sanyo DVD player which was better) via the yellow RCA out. I would say about 3 or 4 LCD's are currently plugged into the single Composite Video/RCA out using two of these and  some of the LCDs are running via RCA outuputs off other LCDs. It's a terrible set up and as you go from the first to last TV you notice the drop in picture quality. One of my managers asked me what we would be looking at paying for a splitter and I said I would get back to him, which brings me to my question -

Does anyone here work in retail or had experiences with HDMI splitters (looking at getting one with atleast 8 HDMI outputs)? Any suggestions on what I should put forward to my manager? I realise we could just get an A/V Splitter box but if you're trying to sell LCDs, surely showing the best posible picture is the most important thing.

I've had a quick look online and come across this one  (1 in 8 out).

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

HDMI splitters work fine for my domestic use. Three displays over 20 metres from source. Check out RappolloAV.
