OK I have the Haventech EPG coming now via Big Screen EPG, this all is working great. I saw in the docs for BS v3 something about channel icons.

8. (Optional) Toggle ‘Channel Logos in EPG Grid’ setting

I have look all through Media Center right clicking furiously and haven't seen any toggle commands. Also were do the icons come from, do I need to download them and have them locally first?

The top two sticky posts in this forum are about channel logos. Have a read there first.

Thanks I have had a read there, they are all about getting the icons, so part of my question is answered. I still haven't found out how to make them visible in MC

From memory... In the BSE config tool, you select the channel, then down the bottom there are options which include the ability to add a logo. It's not too hard to find.

You also obviously need to have the logo files in a folder somewhere on your comp too

There is also a simple program called my channel logos which only does the logos.

I myself have just been through the setup of WMC7 and have found the easiest method of sorting out TV logos and TV guide to be one from the Reven forums here.

After only a small amout of playing around i got it sorted out and now have some nice plain white logos appearing on my TV guide. Sorted.

Well, you could make them whatever colour you want, i just like a simple plain setup for TV.

I'd like to play with some of the other grabbers though to see what they do in regards to being able to show show genres and things.

Indeed it was a simple setup in BSE, simply downloaded some icons unzipped them in a local dir then went and choose them in BSE's logo tab. After the next update I now have wonderful COLOR icons :-))))
