I am currently making myself a Media Centre PC using Windows 7 and a HVR-2200.

I have the media centre up and running, and have tuned all the channels in.  What I am trying to do now id get an EPG up and running. I have read a lot of threads on these forums, and have installed Big Screen EPG, but during the installation process it asks for an XML provider. This is where I am stuck. I have tried various sites I have found on here but nothing seems to work.

I would appreciate some help in getting it running.

I get mine from here: http://xmltv.co.nz/, there are a few issues with the format, if you read his forums, you will find another post on it, essentially there are some undefined charactors in the output which upset Big Screen EPG, as a result I download mine using an automated downloader called free download manager, then I use another tool (command line) called replace to replace a string at the start of the file with the text below, It fixes most of them, but there are a couple of errors with some other channels which I currently aren't importing
<!DOCTYPE tv SYSTEM "dtds/xmltv.dtd" [
  <!ENTITY ndash "-">
  <!ENTITY lsquo "'">
  <!ENTITY rdquo "'">
  <!ENTITY hellip "">
]>
