Hi,
from time to time I have been having lines show up (vertically) across the whole screen on my lcd tv. I finally managed to take a couple of photo’s of the problem.
It happens when you first turn the tv on.

I’m going to call Samsung tomorrow. (still under warranty ) Can anyone please tell me what you would call the fault or what can cause it? Is the screen stuffed? Any info would be great.

I would say the screen itself is fine. It also looks like it is not a source issue but rather then video processing unit. Should be no problems getting it fixed under warranty.

Hi There

I have a similar problem with my Sony w4500 LCD TV about a month ago, a vertical line that runs from the top of the screen to the bottom. Sent the unit away for repair, they can't repair it. Next electronic told me, a new panel is needed etc. Now, I am switch to a panasonic plasma TV.

Your TV is still under warrenty, so everything should be fine, call them and the shop can arrange for a repir / replacement etc.
