Hi,

Does anyone with a Philips LCD know what kind of audio should go into the "DVI Audio In" socket? Analog or digital, because I can't make either work. The socket doesn't look exactly the same as the 3.5mm headphone socket but one of those 3.5mm connectors fits into it.

I'd say it'd be plain old analog stereo, of course to LCD has to be on dvi mode to get sound. Some monitors even need a signal on the dvi video to "enable" sound, if that makes sense

And some will not work if there is an input that is HDMI going into the DVI port since it will get the silent audio off the HDMI signal. Stupid but true...
