OK, I know this post is a bit late but I only found out last night when my flatmate told me, that Prime is now on Freeview (both FreeviewHD and Freeview).

There are posts about that in the geekzone Freeview forum but I only read the HTPC forum and I can't see anyone else has made that announcement so I'm making it now.

I successfully tuned it into my STB last night (will do MediaPortal tonight), it's only broadcast at 576i which is a shame cos I was hoping to get All Blacks replays broadcast in HD...

That's quite right - there's no news like old news, and it was a bit old by the time The Herald reported it on Monday NZ Herald: Freeview users will finally be able to tune into Prime TV

Old for old, we reported it on Sunday 4:30pm Prime to be available on Freeview.

Seriously though, the best is to discuss Freeview things in the Freeview forum. It makes it easier for people to help with anything if needed.

I always thought people should overlap when following some forums: HTPC, Home Theatre, Freeview, Sky are quite related but still distinct.
