The new panny projector is coming to shake up our projector world.  If you are thinking of upgrading to a 1080p projector you need to check the AE4000 out.  Suggested retail price is supposed to be $4,300 and warranty is 2 years or 4000 hours whichever comes first (2x better than warranty in states).

Link to confirmation of suggested retail price from Panasonic Rep.

Isn't the current exchange rate great! (Unless you are an exporter)Laughing

I guess I'll raise my aim again from the AE3000, unless there are some runout deals going....

Have just read the reviews for this - what an excellent projector at an excellent price, projector technology just keeps getting better and better. Time to trade in my PTAE900 and shift up a few gears. I can't wait to couple it up with the OPP BP-83 blu ray player on a 110" screen - just over $5k for an eye watering set up. Bring it on!
