Hi, I have a PS3 old style going into a Bravia via a HDMI link. The Bravia then out puts to my stereo via the analogue cables.

When I play Watchmen on Blu Ray on the PS3 I only get the rear sound, the front dialgue is low. Generally I would set my system up at 2.1 to counteract this but there appears to be no 2.1 mix on the Watchmen Blu ray and I have 2.1 set as default on the PS3.

Has anyone else had this issue on the Watchmen Blu Ray on a PS3?

I have A LOT of Blu Rays but have never encountered this before, any suggestions beside buy a 5.1 system?

Cheers
C

do you get the same problem if you connect the PS3 RCA audio output to your stereo?

with recent firmware you can output sound via both HDMI and RCA at once, making for an interesting test of your issue.
