Regarding the xml file created by the xmltv.co.nz website, is there a way that allows one to see the 7-day EPG laid out in a fashion that's usable for a person (as opposed to a PC)? I only have the EIT data on my Vantage STB, and find using the on-line Freeview EPG a hassle - would be great if I could open the XML file in a way so as to see the full EPG laid out in order.

You can create XSLT to transform the XML and see it in a browser. Here is an example.

Search google for an xmltv xsl file.  I have used on in the past.

This one may work (I haven't tested it but it looked promising).

No, it doesn't! It doesn't scroll properly on my laptop (perhaps a Firefox problem) and isn't the easiest to see on the Mac Mini which is connected to the TV. Actually, I'd rather that the Listener published listings for 6 and 7 - that may be enough for me to continue my subscription (I think it shows I just prefer looking this sort of thing on paper).

Anyway, will look at the other options given above, and have a go to see if they do the job - thanks for the ideas.
