Does anyone know if this supports 1:1 pixel mapping over HDMI for HTPC @ 1920x1080x50hz and 1920x1080x60hz?

Anyone know any better current deals.

I paid $2150 for that TV from Bond Bond at labour weekend. When the salesman was entering the price into the computer it showed up as slightly below cost. They pushed really hard for extended warranty + surge protector but I resisted. Extended warranty is unnecessary due to CGA and surge protector was cheaper at DickSmith.

I run my HTPC into this TV at 1920x1080. I dont think it is a 1:1 mapping as the screen was not going right to the end so I used the zoom setting on the TV to extend it to cover the full screen. Looks fine. I have not spent any time trying to get a 1:1 mapping working.

Only problem I have with my HTPC is that when you change the channel away from the HTPC channel (eg to sky) and then back to the HTPC channel, the computer no longer displays anything. I hear this is a problem with the ATI drivers.

I got around this issue by downloading a program call HDMIon.exe which essentially redoes the HDMI handshaking and put the HTPC output back on the TV. I have a button on my remote call this program.

With so little to be made on this TV by the retailer I doubt they will go much lower.

Its a great TV for the price. Picture is a lot better than my 720p 40" samsung.

he is buying on finance, but that's good to now they let it go for $2150.
Someone on this forum talked about buying the W model for $2300-2400.
