Hi, I have just added a D-Link webcam to my laptop, I want to send short video emails but I cant work out how to do this, how do I compress it so it can go via email? Help me please, Yes I am an amateur.

It depends on your software, but when you check its configurations before recording there will be a standard dialog that looks like this:



Select one of the codecs from the drop down list. In this case I have select the Divx codec - which creates very small files. The person receiving the file must have the codec as well, which is free and available from divx.
