Hmmm, this is quite strange. Got a Dell Zino HD here and all is working perfectly - except the HDMI output is nihil, nothing, nada...

I am using it over VGA but would like to get HDMI going. Is there anything we have to do to enable the HDMI output?

It's worth having a look in the BIOS to see if HDMI output has to be enabled there.

EDIT: Or more likely is as it's not integrated graphics - is there something in Catalyst Control Panel to enable HDMI rather than DVI?

Thanks, but there's no HDMI option in the bios - it's a ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 so it's on the video card. But no option in the Catalyst Control Panel for HDMI control either.

I imagine you've already investigated, but are there any firmware or software updates on the Dell Zino website to get this working? I can't imagine they'd ship a product with hardware that isn't functionally available in the OS

Sounds like a faulty mobo. I have been reading up AVS forums who now have a 90 page thread on Zino. Everyone who got their's delivered had HDMI work out of the box.

All had problems with over scan with HDMI connection (black bar's on side/bottom/top) of TV and they had to install the latest catalyst drivers, some had to install the latest video drivers from Dell's website.

I believe Dell's standard 1 year warrnaty is in-home service if they fail to resolve the issue via their remote desktop software.

I'm sure you have already tried this, but you need to switch the display to the HDMI just as you would any external monitor.
