Hi i have a DVD Home Theater System DAV-DZ590K(HDMI) and a Philips LCD TV 32PFL3403 32" HD Ready. I want to know how i can connect my PS3 system to the Home Theater. Can i connect the PS3 to the DVD with an optical cable will that help? thank you

Yes, for audio. How are you connecting the PS3 to your tv, are you using HDMI cable? If you are, you will have to change the audio settings on the PS3 to use Optical cable instead of HDMI.

yes i am using an HDMI cable to connect my ps3 to my tv and another hdmi cable to connect the home theater to the tv.. but my tv cant use optical. thanks for the answer
