Im looking at getting a tv. After some research a plasma seems to be the better choice for me.

Ive heard panasonic do good plasma's

Im looking at something like  a 45 - 50 inch

What sort of panasonic  series should i look for? newest?   I can probably afford up to $3000

cheers

Keep a eye out for sales of the V10 or S10. Some have got the V10 for $3199 at boxing day.

The order (worst to best) goes X10 then S10 then G10 then V10. for around the $3000 you should be looking at V10 around $3200 (was $3000 at HN on boxing day) or the G10 got mine for $2358 but should be able to get $2500 easy. All 50". Both the G10 and V10 have the newer Neo PDP panel which is brighter and uses less power. I am very happy with my G10.

Definitely go Panasonic. Brilliant panels.

V would be the series to go for with that budget.

You can get a G as well for around $2400 if you bargain and it's not bad either.
