I need some help been reading lots of threads but cant seem to get things working

NDSCam 0.0.0.5 / 7
Jaycar Reader

Problem I have is I cant start NDS Cam or get an ATR I have read some where about a mdapi filter but this sounds like only for media portal all I am after is watching sky from DVBDream application
I have tried almost every combination of NDS settings but still no go
The red light on the jaycar flashes once when I press start ( under nds plugin ) but thats all - By the way I did at one stage have it working on another installation of windows but now thats gone and I cant remember how I did it
