Ok, so after running the 32bit RC of Win 7 I just installed to x64 Home Pro.
but now when I scan the transponders 12456 & 12483 for Freeview channels I get varios sky channels, and no FTA channels. Also, sitting in the channel listings & guide was the old fTA channels - no guides and "service unavailable" message showing.
I have tried rescanning, resetting up, google etc.
BTW, I run multiple HDDs - OS on one (which was a format and fresh install - can't upgrade to 64bit), Media on another and backup on another.
The WAF factor has hit its lowest since the media HDD died last year...

When you tell WMC that you are receiving on Optus D1 it automatically adds the Freeview channels except for PRIME.
You need to do a manual scan of 12456 and it should list PRIME as the only channel it found (as the others are already in the guide.)

Cool, just found that out. But I still get a "service unavailable" message across all channels and no guide listings(except Prime)

Ok, so i'm playing with Win TV at the mo and all the channels it can see on 12456 & 12483 are all encrypted and are Sky channels. A full scan revaels a TV1 & TV2 unencrypted on trans 12421(?) but none of TVNZ6,7, Parliament, Stratos, Maori etc.
Can someone else confrim that what I'm seeing is correct?

I have a text file for installing Windows 7 with Media Center from scratch.
Below is the segment for tuning to Freeview:

Configure : Windows Media Center
Region: New Zealand
Postal Code: 1234
Satellite: Optus D1 NZ
LNB Type: Custom Single Oscillator
Oscillator Frequency: 11300

Configure : Prime
Single Transponder Scan
Carrier Frequency: 12456
Symbol Rate: 22500
Polarization: Horizontal

Note: NZ digital services on 12483 22500 H and 12456 22500 H

that doesn't appear to be my issue. Look at the attached screen shot - notice the channels I am picking up on the transponders? On 2 seperate cards with 2 seperate programs I am getting the same channels.

Well I am having a problem that my pinnacle pctv nano stick picks all the channels up yet when i run the program to watch them as i'm on a 64 bit system it will not work and crashes out after a few seconds. So if anyone knows of a usb tv adaptor that's 64 bit compatible please let me know as that would be great.

Either that or some software that is 64bit capable with the pinnacle nano stick.

PROBLEM SOLVED

Had transposed an LNB number (put 10570 instead of 10750)
Fixed that and it all magically worked!

I feel like such a noob...
